Christmas is almost upon us, which means that it is fundraising time again. As many of you know, Chestnuts is a charity run by parents for families in Wokingham, and as a charity we rely on fundraising for many of the extras that we like to provide for our children. This year we have three events that require your support:

• Saturday 28th November - Hawthorns School Christmas Fayre. We are extremely lucky to have been offered a stall this year by Hawthorns PTA, but we need volunteers to help us run it.
• Saturday 5th December - Chestnuts Christmas Fayre. Our parents and children can all take part, helping to run stalls and generally having a great day.
• Tuesday 8th December - Wokingham Roundtable Door-to-Door Collection. Starting at the bottom of Heron Road in Woosehill, and working up to Kestrel Way and Swallow Way, we need as many volunteers to help up collect money door-to-door along with Santa and his float. Parents with their children are particularly welcome.
