Chestnuts Pre-School is a registered charity, originally opened in 1984, and is managed by committee whose members comprise of parents of children attending the group. We have own self-contained premises in a residential area of Woosehill, adjacent to Hawthorns Primary School, with two large playrooms and a fully enclosed outside play area. We employ nine members of staff (six of whom hold appropriate early years qualifications) who work with the children in a variety of sessions throughout the week.
Our sessions times are Monday to Friday 8.45am - 11:45am and 12:20pm - 3:20pm, and we currently have over 70 children on roll with us. We particularly welcome children with additional needs and those who speak English as an additional language.
