On Sunday 14th June, Chestnuts will be holding a Summer Fun Day, 11.00am-to-3.30pm on the Hawthorns School field. The Fun Day is great fun for all the family and we will have lots of activities including a children’s entertainer, bouncy castle, races and games. This year for the first time we will also have Sam The Train coming to give children rides. Please bring along friends and family and don’t forget your picnic. Tickets are £12 per family (2 adults & 3 children) and £3 for each additional adult attending. Please complete and return your ticket requests by Friday 15th May. In the foyer of Chestnuts, there is also a sheet which you can put up your name to volunteer your help on any of the stalls running that day. Even if it is just for half an hour, it would be lovely to have your help.

On Sunday 21st June, Hawthorns Primary School will be holding their school fayre and Chestnuts will be therr with a stall. Again, please come along and support us.

Finally, we will be holding a Quiz Night on Saturday 27th June at the Scout Hut, next to Chestnuts. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a team to enter, we will be able to put you with a team on the night and it is a great way to get to know other parents of children at Chestnuts. Family and friends are welcome. The forms for tickets have been distributed and need to be returned by Friday 30th May.
